What is Optimism? hopefulness and confidence about the future or the success of something.
What is Opportunity? a time or set of circumstances that makes it possible to do something.
What is Purposeful Optimism? A purposefully optimistic approach to doing business, leading communities and living our lives. It is derived from strategy and built on substance and opportunity. It is a practical philosophy and process that opens minds and helps create healthy dialogue around innovation, optimism and opportunity. It’s an approach that creates a dynamic culture of opportunity and focused can-do optimism within organisations, and with clients, stakeholders and communities.
What is Blind Optimism? blind optimism is self-deception. People who demand a sunny outlook, even when confronted with plenty of legitimate reasons to worry, are essentially encouraging others not to be intellectually honest.
What is Prosperity? the state of flourishing, thriving, good fortune or successful social status. Prosperity often encompasses wealth but also includes other factors which can be independent of wealth to varying degrees, such as happiness and health.
What is Purposeful? having a clear focus. Beginning with a vision for what you want to accomplish, and concentrating on your goals.
What is Sustainability? the ability to be maintained at a certain rate or level i.e. “the sustainability of economic growth“. Avoidance of the depletion of natural resources in order to maintain an ecological balance i.e. “the pursuit of global environmental sustainability“.
